4 stars for the portions! We all went home with big to-go portions.
3 stars for the food itself mainly because the broth wasn't very flavorful. Several of us had to add soy sauce or the spicy chili oil. -

I have not been here for a long time, yet each time I go the food was far from amazing. I pass by this place every day and am reminded of how mediocre this place is, so it's about time I finally share some input.
First I would like to get out the way is that the employees are great and they handle their food well. Convenience is a plus. I never had an issue with service, but then again I have only gone twice.
Now, if you're looking for authentic ramen, go anywhere but this franchise. My modified packet ramen tastes better than this. Their ramen lacks flavor, like a diluted cup of ramen. For those not used to rich broths from flavor town, this place is for you. For those that want complexity - stay away. This place may be convenient for quick ramen, but honestly, you can either make your own and make it taste way better for a total of $2 or you can just order from a more authentic ramen stop. One of my favorites: Wagaya, and they offer order pick ups. -

Onolicious food and a great price! Love this place because the workers are fast and friendly, the food is great and the gyoza is so good! Love gyoza?!? Go during "happy hour" daily 2-5 pm and get a tray of 4 gyoza free with each entree ordered.

Not my favorite curry place and the ramen is okay. You'll find this Ramen Ya location at the Ewa on of the mall. It's right next to a dry cleaning joint.
This place can get busy at times and it's pretty loud. One of the more popular dishes is the Katsu Curry and TanTan ramen. I've try tried both and often times it's always different tasting. The Katsu is so hit or miss. I had it once where the Katsu was fried really crispy and sometimes it would come out soggy. Not sure why. The ramen is also a hit or miss. I would get it hot (temperature) and sometimes it's barely hot.
Gyoza seems to be the staple here. If you're able to make it before 5 or 6pm, you get free Gyoza with your order. This is not the fried gyoza though. One great thing I like is that there is a lot of parking and the food comes out fairly quick. It still doesn't outweigh the quality of the food.
If you want better curry, go to CoCo Ichiban Curry house. If you want better ramen, even though it's a tad more expensive, I'd recommend Manichi Ramen. They also have better Gyoza too. Cheers! -

We came here after pearl harbor elementary fair & it was really cold & dark. We were so hungry & this location is right next door to the school.
SERVICE: Again, the workers here are never friendly at all. Its like they rush you to order & rush you out. That just kills my vibes. I love going places where the workers are friendly because your happy eating your food.
FOOD: I wanted to try something different so I ordered the regular Mapo tofu ramen & it was so delicious & yummy in my tummy. My fiance got the regular mochiko chicken that was ok, wish it was a bit more crunchy. So last time i came here the water was gross but this time i dont know if my ramen through it off but ot tasted fine. We also ordered some gyoza even if it wasnt happy hour.
SPACE: It is really tight inside. The space between the tables were just enough for my wheelchair to make it through but that makes me feel so uncomfortable you know? & every time a worker goes behind me they bump it.EVERYTIME they walk behind me like you bumped me once & you just keep bumping me & you dont even say your sorry.
